"Bones"
I'm not a fan of forensic crime investigation type of shows. I faint at the sight of blood and usually throw up if I see something decomposing. However, I choose to suffer through all the gory scenes in "Bones" because I perceive the show as somewhat of a forensic comedy, rather than a crime show.

The success of the show can be partially attributed to the former "Angel" David Boreanaz, who plays the role of an FBI agent Seeley Booth. Boreanaz bears resemblance to martial arts fighter Jason Chambers ("Human Weapon"). |
Emily Deschanel, the lead character on "Bones" looks a lot like Rachel Blanchard ("Snakes on a Plane", "7th Heaven"). To some extent I watch "Bones" for nostalgic reasons, since Deschanel's portrayal of Temperance Brennan always reminds me of my father. He is a scientist, like Bones and has a speech pattern very similar to hers. I kept some letters he wrote to me when I was seven and whenever I reread them I get a feeling that they might as well have been written by Dr. Brennan. |

Ever since I first saw Eric Millegan as Dr. Zack Addy I've had a nagging feeling that I've seen him before. It took me over a year to realize that he reminded me of Bud Cort, the star of "Harold and Maude"... |
