SNL stars past and present
Just as many other immigrants I found that "Saturday Night Life" is a very useful tool for a person who wants to learn about American culture. My first year in the U.S. I watched a lot of SNL reruns and in no time I felt up to speed. I guess I have Lorne Michaels to thank for my rapid cultural immersion.

| Andy Samberg's Hollywood celebrity look-alike is Aaron Eckhart ("The Dark Knight", "Erin Brockovich"). Although they have different hair colors the rest of their facial features are very similar (especially their rather large chins). |

| I feel that SNL's "Weekend Update" segment lost some of its edge ever since Colin Quinn left the show in 2000. Mr. Quinn bears resemblance to another comedian David Coulier, famous for his role of Joey Gladstone on "Full House". |

Julie Banderas, a correspondent for the Fox news channel reminds me of Maya Rudolph, who brilliantly portrayed Donatella Versace and Whitney Houston among many other really funny characters. |

| Paul Rudd ("Knocked Up", "The 40 Year Old Virgin") reminds me of Norm MacDonald. Both actors share very similar pointy noses and cute dimples. |

Dwayne Johnson (AKA the Rock) bears striking resemblance to Rob Schneider ("Deuce Bigalow", "The Hot Chick"). I think the Rock and Schneider should produce their own version of "The Incredible Hawk". Schneider could play Bruce Banner and Johnson can be the Hawk. All previous 'Banners' don't look like previous 'Hawks' and I think the movies would've made more sense if both characters looked more alike, since both are the same person. |
