Science Fiction characters and their Hollywood celebrity twins
| The first time I saw Hellboy I thought that the main character looked like a red version of Ted Danson ("Cheers", "Help Me Help You"). I was later surprised that Ron Perlman ("Enemy at the Gates", "The Second Front") was the one hiding under all that make-up, since in real life Perlman looks nothing like Danson. | ![]() |

Commander Data was my favorite character on "Star Trek: The Next Generation". He reminded me of Pinocchio and I wanted nothing more than for Data to become human and to be able to experience all the wonderful things that people who can feel do. For a while I was convinced that Kevin Klein was the one playing Data. I later found out that Brent Spiner was the one playing my favorite Star Trek character. |

For a few years in college I got into "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine". My favorite character on the show was Commander Jadzia Dax played by Terry Farrell. Dax epitomized everything that I admire in strong women and on top of that she was a total Trill babe. When I went to see "Love in the Time of Cholera" I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Farrell has a European look-alike - Italian actress Giovanna Mezzogiorno. |
| I've never seen "Enterprise", so when I saw a short commercial for an upcoming episode I assumed that the fictional character I was looking at was played by Hillary Swank ("Million Dollar Baby", "The Gift"). Since I'm a big fan of Ms. Swank, I decided to research it and to my surprise Jolele Blalock was the one in the role of sub-commander T'Pol. | ![]() |

I love the first three episodes of "Star Wars", (although technically they should now be called the last three episodes). When "Ally McBeal" came out I noticed that Greg Germann resembled Luke Skywalker, played by Mark Hamill's in "Star Wars". |
| Jabba the Hutt reminds me of the CBS commentator Andy Rooney. It's not so much their facial features, as their facial expressions. Their resemblance is especially apparent when Mr. Rooney drops the corners of his mouth. | ![]() |
