World leaders past and present

George Bush (left) and Robert Jarvik (right)
Robert Jarvik, an inventor of artificial heart, who frequently appears in Lipitor commercials bears resemblance to George W. Bush.

Vladimir Putin (left) and Meerkat (right)
Vladimir Putin looks like a Meerkat

Former Russian president and the current true ruler of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin reminds me of a meerkat. I know that I'm insignificant enough to fly under the FSB's radar, but I still felt a little eerie adding this resemblance to my site. Anyway, if I end up like Yushchenko or worse yet Litvinenko I'll know who to blame...

Tony Blair (left) and Kevin Costner (right)

Tony Blair's Hollywood celebrity look-alike is Kevin Costner. I was sad to see Tony Blair go. I've always enjoyed his reasoning. In general, I've been quite fascinated with the British politicians past and present. I'm a big fan of both Churchill and Disraeli. However, my favorite exchange between the members of the British parliament dates back to the eighteenth century. It goes as follows:

John Montagu, Earl of Sandwich: "Egad sir, I do not know whether you will die on the gallows or of the pox." John Wilkes: "That will depend, my Lord, on whether I embrace your principles or your mistress."

Nicolas Sarcozy (left) and Kevin McDonald (right)
Nicolas Sarcozy resembles Kevin McDonald

Canadian actor/comedian Kevin McDonald ("The Kids in the Hall") looks like the French President Nicolas Sarcozy. I was rooting for Nicolas Sarcozy in the 2007 French elections, since I'm naturally suspicious of socialists like Segolene Royal, (having lived in a Communist country, who can blame me?). Upon hearing Sarcozy's speech before the U.S. congress I was really impressed with his eloquence. It's not often that one hears anything positive about America within the walls of the Capitol building.

Ron Livingston (left) and Hamid Karzai (right)

From certain angles the president of Afghanistan, Hamid Karzai reminds me of Ron Livingston ("Office Space", "Sex and the city"). I'm still not sure what to make of Karzai, so for now I'm just observing him...

Whenever I would see the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate (lol) Yasser Arafat wearing his black-and-white keffiyeh I couldn't stop thinking about Herseys kisses.

Catherine Keener (left) and Tzipi Livni (right)

Israeli Minister of Foreign Affairs and a potential first female Prime Minister since Golda Meir, Tzipi Livni reminds me of Catherine Keener ("Being John Malkovich", "Capote").

-What do you get if you cross the ultimate MILF Stifler's mom with a troubled Oscar winner?

-An israeli female politician! Go figure!

Jimmy Carter (left) and Ronny Cox (right)

A globetrotting sorry excuse for an American president Jimmy Carter looks like Ronny Cox ("Stargate SG-1", "The Agency").
