The "bearer of love" was made (by me, of course) for my mom's birthday many years ago. I gave the horse this name, because under its saddle it had a letter declaring my love for my mom. The horse was made from scraps of my grandmother's old fur coat and although nowadays I would never use fur for any of my projects, back then I didn't have a range of materials to use. I also didn't have chinchillas to make me more conscious about the use of fur in general.
I constructed this toy from 7 little rolls sewn together: 5 same-sized ones for the legs and the neck, 1 small one for the face and a large one for the horse's torso. It's very easy to make and looks cute too. I used two old earrings to hang on the sides of the horse's head. The earrings gave my horse a bit of an 'Eskimo' look which I liked since at that time I was absolutely crazy about the Jack London's Alaskan stories and liked everything related to Alaska.
